Hygiene Appointments
Hygiene appointments typically run for approximately 45 minutes and focus on maintaining healthy teeth and gums, which is particularly important for patients undergoing or considering implant treatment.
The recommended frequency of visits depends on individual oral health:
• Every six months for patients with stable gum and dental health
• Every three months for patients requiring additional care, until stability is achieved
X-Rays
X-rays are an important part of monitoring oral health and may be required to assess areas not visible during a clinical examination.
Updated imaging allows the hygienist and dentist to identify changes early and ensure treatment planning remains accurate and appropriate.
