Dr. Nicholas Hocking and his team aim to provide the best possible restorative and implant supported dental solutions in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Dr Hocking has spent many years in post graduate training in both Australia and London (UK), gaining two separate Masters Degrees in clinical dentistry. He is trained to carry out both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant supported dentistry so as to be competent to provide the most appropriate dental solution for all his patients. Dr Hocking's treatment is carried out largely under a microscope to ensure an ideal outcome. He believes that microscope aided dentistry produces considerable improvement in consistent quality of treatment provided to the patient and that in the future the use of microscopes will be considered as a standard of care requirement.

The majority of our dental team, including Dr. Hocking, are bilingual in English and Japanese which enables us to also give optimum care to our many Japanese patients. Another invaluable aspect of our clinical nursing staff is that the majority are also fully qualified hygienists, meaning that patients are receiving the utmost care both in and out of the surgery.

Dr. Hocking’s practice is now largely referral based, as he has strived to work hand in hand in a coordinated way with other dental and medical professionals to ensure that every patient receives the best and most appropriate treatment for their individual circumstances. He enjoys talking to colleagues about cases they are treating and offer a second opinion when requested. If required, he is happy to carry out the treatment planning and the surgical aspect of the case so the referring restorative dentist can focus on what he or she enjoys doing most, the provision of predictable, ideal implant supported restorations.
